The main floor features big-room vibes and big-booming sounds with with Denver headliners Shea Delany of Twenty 40 (who's recently played at Beatport's Beta Nightclub) tag teaming with one of Denver's top promoters and DJs, DJ Ascension (Twenty 40, Lavish Nightlife). Then we have a tag team by Giant Squid creators, Bruno Magnum and Aaron "Monster Jesus" Lee who's Omaha veteran status and keen production skills have been launching him into international spotlights. Plus an old school tag team set that will surely bring many of the heads out, Zak C and myth.
The top deck features esoteric, soulful and techy deep house, star-lit skyscapes and breeze-blowing from the troposphere. The line-up includes micro-house and special Euro import deep minimal selector, Nierika; Omaha's jack specialist, Tres from lowercasesounds.com and Healing Sessions; Lavish Nightlife, Giant Squid Records artist and one of Pete Tong's Bedroom Bedlam winners, DJ Panos; plus loom co-creator and resident DJ, Brent Crampton alongside percussionist Shif-D.
And then for the bottom level, this SoundWaves takes the concept of three distinctive sound atmospheres on three levels even further by highlighting the new breed of eclectic DJs that have been popping up in the area, pulling from disco, punk, indie electro, unreleased blog mash-ups and droves of dusty vinyl classics. The lineup includes Arizona transplant and Nomad resident DJ, Rey Cantil who's fast changed many people's minds in Omaha about what can and can't be played to get people moving. Mello Mic, former DJ to Slang 5 and Lincoln lime-light, DJ Spence who's holding down a residency at Bricktop while playing any venue in the town with a capable mixer and credible audience.
This is surely a proper way to end the summer, so purchase your tickets before their gone!
